TRAUMA MANAGEMENT AND CRITICAL INCIDENTS

Under OH&S legislation, organisations are expected to manage psychological and emotional risks and hazards in the workplace and take all reasonable steps to look after the mental health of employees.

An obvious example of this is when the workplace has experienced a traumatic or critical incident. The purpose of the Trauma Management Service (TMS) is to help your organisation provide an effective response to those affected by a critical incident in the workplace and fulfil its duty of care towards employees.

Trauma Management Services

  • Assist your organisation to be “crisis ready”
  • Provide knowledge on how to respond appropriately during a workplace critical incident
  • Provide practical steps to facilitate individual and organisational recovery.
  • Physical assaults
